CONVENTIONAL ASPHALTS AND EMULSIONS – NTA®
Conventional Asphalts
The asphalt used in paving is a bituminous binder obtained from the distillation of petroleum. It has properties and consistency suitable for the construction and maintenance of asphalt pavements. Asphalts can be modified by polymers to improve performance and durability under climate impacts and traffic loads.
CONVENTIONAL ASPHALTS AND EMULSIONS – NTA®
Conventional Emulsions
Asphalt emulsion is the dispersion of asphalt droplets in an aqueous phase composed of surfactants. The result is an asphalt binder that can be applied cold. These products can be modified by polymers to improve performance and durability under the effects of the climate and traffic loads.
